table tennis

Table tennis, also known as ping-pong , is a racket and ball game derived from tennis but it is played on a stationary, flat table, divided into two equal courts by a net fixed across its width at the middle. Table tennis can be played either individually or in teams of two, players take alternating turns returning a light, hollow ball over the table's net onto the opposing half of the court using small rackets. Play is fast, requiring quick reaction and constant attention, and is characterized by an emphasis on spin.

Table tennis raises the heart rate, helps strengthen muscles, mobilizes the joints and, importantly, sharpens reaction times and hugely improves hand-eye coordination. It is an easy and fun game to play and could be a great way to make friends.

You can play table tennis at any age, as it does not require the same level of athleticism as field tennis. Studies have proven that table tennis stimulates many areas of the brain simultaneously and offers a huge range of mental benefits.

Our table tennis is situated indoors, so you can play table tennis regardless of the weather. We also have equipment on site, which we rent out to players.
